06/28/2009 We are open every day from 11AM!! The Aardvarks - Saturday from 10 to 2 DJ Dan Karaoke - Friday from 9 to 2 Miss Behaving - Friday from 6 to 9 Jake Kaligis & Mike Rauscher - Wednesday from 9 - 12! In response to the recent Morning Call articles, we are very disappointed that the Morning Call portrayed our situation much differently and dire than, in fact, it is. Yes, we have our liquor license, and will continue to operate as normal. The LCB had previously offered a renewal of our liquor license but arbitrarily attached a few noise restrictions that we viewed as unacceptable. We have appealed their decision to a common court and we are very confident we'll retain our liquor license without the restrictions they imposed. Unfortunately, The Morning Call, in an attempt to "sell" news at all costs, used our earlier positive situation with the President and spun this situation to their advantage. It's our hope that they give us the same "front page" attention when our appeal is won. Our new chef, Brendon, is almost done with our new menu! The menu will be available in 2 weeks!

Are you in or know someone in a band who is trying to get jumpstarted in the LV? We are opening our upstairs from 6 to 9 on certain dates for "Foot in the Door Fridays" for bands trying to attract a following. It's a way to promote your band with your crowd and draw a following from our restaurant. A major upset occurred this past weekend at the Shuffleboard Tournament as the latest team of young shuffleboard sensation, Buddy, and his dad, Scott, shocked the shuffleboard world with their 1st Shuffleboard title! In between bites of his Cotton Candy, Buddy consistently threw shots that had onlookers shaking their heads. Finally in the championship they outlasted the duo of Led and Sports Blitz Justin ("Rock Blitz") in 2 games. The heavily favored Boilermakers failed to win their 5th straight title as they were ousted earlier by the Blitz. The maligned duo of Pat and Darren (Bertuzzi) were defeated once again and one wonders if they can ever get back to their 3 championship form..... The next tournament is July 11 ay 6PM. All teams are welcome!
