Our 3rd year anniversary is August 15th and we're throwing a big celebration from the 15th to the 17th with an outdoor Tent Party!! Don't miss the fun as we'll have dunk tanks, food, beer, games, and prizes all weekend long!! The 1st 100 patrons receive free teeshirts commemorating our special event! Thursday nights are now officially QUESADILLA night at the Blue Monkey! Our quesadillas are one of our best sellers and we took them to another level on Thursdays by introducing 16 different quesadillas all at the low price of $7.50. From our screaming (hot) quesadilla to our seafood quesadilla, cheesesteak, hawaiian, turkey club, vegetable we offer the largest variety in the Lehigh Valley! Also offered on Thursday nights are $2 off all martinis, $2 Bud Light drafts, $2 Landshark and $2 Bud Light Lime bottles! On Friday, August 29th, we are holding the WZZO Rock Band Competition upstairs in the Palm Room from 7 to 9. All ages can enter and signups are at WWW.WZZO.COM. The winning band will go to the finals 2 weeks later and the grand prize is a $500 Gift Certificate from Tweeter for each band member! Be sure to sign up now! Penn State's premier party band, The Giants Of Science , will debut November 1st at the Monkey! An 80s style band that wears makeup, it's a night you can't miss! Our 2nd Blue Monkey Tournament at Willowbrook Golf Course was held yesterday and the Jim Thorpe team of Matt Reabold, Steve Yuhas, Tom Knowlton, and Super Mario Salvatore took the crown with a total of -12 under Par. Mario also won our Closest to the Pin contest while Gary Glegsteed took home the Longest Drive prize. Fantastic weather and food, drinks, catered throughout the day courtesy of our 6 Miller Lite girls made the day a great success. Our banquet at the restaurant featured prizes for everyone. We look forward to our 3rd tournament next year! Our 18th Shuffleboard tournament was held and the Boilermakers won their 8th championship with a sweep of TaMonna in the finals. The Boilermakers were undefeated all night and primed to face their rival Bertuzzi but the ladder couldn't make it. The next tournament is scheduled for August 24th at 6! Free signups at 5:30. The Allentown Area Corvette Club meets here the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 8PM in the Palm Room. Doors open at 6PM for dinner! The Player's Pub Poker League is here on Monday Nights! Our own Blue Monkey Beer Club has been growing and now has over 200 members! Interested patrons will receive their own Monkey Passport and Progress hart as they attempt to finish all 60 beers in the club! Upon reaching this plateau you'll receive your own personalized Blue Monkey Mug and a spot on our large plaque thats displayed in the restaurant! The fun only begins at this point. You'll be registered as a "Private" in the club and will ave to go back and complete 25 military rankings or levels! Do you have what it takes to become a 5 Star General in the Monkey Beer Club!!
